Kin Ng has been an Assistant District Attorney in Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office for over 27 years, starting in 1991.  From 1992 to 1998, Mr. Ng was a Senior Felony Trial Attorney in the Blue Zone Trial Bureau, where he tried felony level crimes ranging from Felony Assaults, Burglaries, Rapes, and Robberies to Felony Drug sales and Homicides. From 1998 to 1999, he was Deputy Bureau Chief of ECAB and Criminal Court.  From 1999 to 2007, he was eventually promoted to Bureau Chief of the Domestic Violence Bureau, and prosecuted DV homicide cases.  From 2007 to 2014, Mr. Ng was Chief of Training, responsible for coordinating and conducting training for over 500 prosecutors office-wide.  During this period, he was a member of the Ethics Oversight Committee and the Chief Liaison to the Brooklyn Asian Community.  From 2014 to 2017, he was Chief of the Immigrant Fraud Unit, which prosecuted individuals/businesses that targeted and exploited immigrants.  Currently, he is the Bureau Chief of Trial Bureau I – Red Zone.  Externally, he is an active member of the Asian American Bar Association of New York (AABANY) and a founding member of its Prosecutors Committee.  Mr. Ng is a graduate of New York University’s Stern School of Business and Boston University School of Law.

Maria Park is a Deputy Bureau Chief at the Kings County District Attorney’s Office in Brooklyn, N.Y.   She has been with the office since 1995.  During that time, she has been involved in all aspects of prosecution -- trials, appeals, and investigations.  Currently, she works on civil cases relating to the office. Ms. Park received her J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York, and her B.A. in Economics from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst.  She is a member of the City Bar in New York City, the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association, the Asian American Bar Association of New York, the Korean American Lawyer’s Association of Greater New York, and the Korean Prosecutors Association.

Mr. Lin graduated with a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Pennsylvania . While attending Hofstra University ’s School of Law, he was a member of the Moot Court Board, the Labor Law Journal, and The Environmental Law Digest.  He also founded Hofstra University ’s chapter of the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association. Since 1989 Mr. Lin had been an Assistant District Attorney at the New York County District Attorney’s office.  During his career there he has been twice appointed a Criminal Court Supervisor of first and second year prosecutors and has been designated a Domestic Violence Coordinator. He was a member of that office’s Asian Gang Unit and has prosecuted homicides since 1999.  In 2017, Mr. Lin joined the Brooklyn DA’s Office as the felony deputy bureau chief of Trial Bureau III Grey Zone and then Trial Bureau IV – Green Zone in 2018. In 2008 he helped form and became a Co- Chair of AABANY’s Prosecutors’ Committee.  Mr. Lin has been a member of the New York State Advisory Committee on Criminal Law and Procedure since March 2010. The committee recommends legislative proposals concerning criminal law and procedure to the Chief Administrative Judge of New York State.  To date, Mr. Lin’s toughest “assignment” may very well be his leadership of his son’s Cub Scout Den and the 12 boys in the den.

Mr. Chiang is a career prosecutor who grew up in the county he serves.  Being a New York native has given him the experience to understand the impact that has crime has on individuals and society.  Being a victim of crime of the 1980s and 1990s motivated him to learn Kung Fu as well as to become a prosecutor, both with the objective to protect others.  He has been with the Queens District Attorney’s Office over 18 years, serving 3 years in Homicide Investigations and 13 years in Narcotics Investigations, before being promoted to Supervising District Attorney in the Special Prosecutions Division.  During his time in Homicide Investigations, he took video recorded statements of homicide suspects, went to crime scenes, and participated in investigations of police-related fatalities.  As a member of Narcotics Investigations, David advised police officers as to the best methods of collecting evidence to build cases.  He oversaw numerous long-term investigations, involving wiretaps, search warrants, confidential informants, and undercover operations which led to the successful prosecution of hundreds of subjects, and the seizure of hundreds of kilograms of illegal drugs, numerous illegal firearms, as well as millions of dollars in drug proceeds.  David now works in the Special Prosecutions Division specializing in community outreach and increasing the diversity of the office. Mr. Chiang is a graduate of Dartmouth College and Fordham University School of Law.

Sabeeha Madni has been a Brooklyn prosecutor since 2005, and is currently a Senior Homicide Assistant in the Domestic Violence Bureau of the Kings County District Attorney’s Office. Ms. Madni has been the lead attorney for over 20 felony jury trials. Prior to her assignment in the Domestic Violence Bureau, she has prosecuted and investigated a variety of cases in the Trial Zones (Orange and Blue Zones), Civil Rights Bureau, and Rackets Division. She is an active member of AABANY and its Prosecutors Committee. Ms. Madni is a graduate of SUNY Stonybrook and Buffalo Law School.

Yi Liu is currently a Felony Trial Assistant at the Kings County District Attorney’s Office. He is a member of Trial Bureau IV – Green Zone, which oversees five (5) precincts in Brooklyn, New York. As a member of Trial Bureau IV, Mr. Liu prosecutes various criminal cases ranging from violent felony crimes to pattern crimes involving burglaries and identity fraud. Since joining the office, Mr. Liu has tried cases, conducted hearings and has overseen pre-arrest investigations involving search warrants, trap and trace, and interviewed suspects and witnesses. Recently, he also served as a special prosecutor on behalf of the Richmond County District Attorney’s Office. 
Mr. Liu is a graduate of Baruch College and Southern University Law Center.

Nikita Mehta is an Assistant District Attorney in the Kings County District Attorney’s Office. She is an ADA in Trial Bureau V, also known as Orange zone, which oversees four precincts in Brooklyn, New York. She graduated from University of Michigan Law School and University of Michigan. Stephanie Pak is an Assistant District Attorney at the Kings County District Attorney's Office.  She is an ADA in Trial Bureau II, also known as Blue Zone, which oversees one of the heaviest caseloads in the office.  Ms. Pak currently presents a range of cases to the grand jury for indictment and previously handled a misdemeanor caseload involving a variety of offenses including DWI, assault, larceny, narcotics, and firearms.  Prior to joining Trial Bureau II, Stephanie was also an ADA in the Domestic Violence bureau, conducting intake with victims and assessing cases for evidence-based prosecution trials.  Ms. Pak has conducted hearings and tried cases in both the lower and superior courts in Brooklyn.  Stephanie graduated from Brown University and attended Fordham University School of Law.  She is also a member of AABANY and NAPABA.

David Sohn is an Assistant District Attorney for the Kings County District Attorney’s Office since 2015. He is currently assigned to the Young Adult Court Bureau. Previously, Mr. Sohn prosecuted cases in the Domestic Violence Bureau and the Orange Zone Trial Bureau. Prior to becoming a prosecutor, he was an antitrust litigator, representing indirect purchaser plaintiffs while at an international law firm. He is currently serving on the Board of Governors of the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA) as the Alternate Regional Governor of the Northeast Region.  He is also an active member of the Asian American Bar Association of New York (AABANY) since 2012 and is serving as the Membership Director of AABANY.  He is a former Co-Chair of AABANY’s Young Lawyers Committee and the former Co-Coordinator of the AABANY Mentorship Program.  Mr. Sohn is an active member of the Korean American Lawyers Association of Greater New York (KALAGNY) and served as the Senior Chair of KALAGNY’s Anniversary Gala in 2017. Mr. Sohn earned his B.A. from The George Washington University, J.D. from Northeastern University of Law, and an LL.M. in from The George Washington University Law School.

Kevin Yim is an Assistant District Attorney in the Special Victims Bureau of the Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office, where he prosecutes sex crimes, crimes against children, and sex crimes against children.  He joined the Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office with the aim of protecting the diverse communities that make up Brooklyn.  Kevin was born to immigrants from China, who opened take-out restaurants on Long Island.  He is the first in his family to graduate college.  Before working at the Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office, Kevin served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Gary R. Brown, United States Magistrate Judge for the Eastern District of New York.  Kevin also currently is the Co-Chair of the Career Placement Committee of the Asian American Bar Association of New York and sits on the Cultural Competency and Ethics Committee of the Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office.  Mr. Yim is a graduate of Brandeis University and Temple University’s James E. Beasley School of Law.

Jin P. Lee was an Assistant District Attorney in the Staten Island District Attorney’s Office for over nine years, where he prosecuted a variety of cases from violent street crimes, to rackets to financial crimes.  He was the Director of the Crimes Against Revenue Program.  Mr. Lee is now in private practice.  He is admitted to the New York, New Jersey, and Wisconsin Bars.  He has tried cases in State and the Federal Courts.  He is an active member of the Asian American Bar Association of New York (AABANY) and a founding member of its Prosecutors Committee.  He is a graduate of Oberlin College and Wisconsin Law School.
